GENITAL MAPPING

An Educational Workshop for Building
a Loving Relationship with your Genitals

What is Genital Mapping?

It’s a practice of self exploration that helps you develop a deeper understanding and connection with your genitals. Through guided somatic exercises, anatomical and sensate education, you will learn to approach your sexual centre with curiosity, appreciation, and love, while building body confidence.

How Can Genital Mapping Benefit You?

1. Know Your Body Better

Build a more positive and confident relationship with your genitals and sexuality. Discover the incredible variety of anatomical parts that make your genitals unique and remarkable. Understanding your body's landscape naturally impacts your confidence to communicate your preferences to partners.

2. Reclaim Sensations

For those experiencing numbness or reduced sensations in their genitals, regular mindful touch can help restore awareness and sensitivity. Through gentle, intentional exploration, you can reconnect with parts of your body that may have become disconnected due to trauma, stress, or simply lack of attention.

3. Discover Your Preferences

Learn what feels good and what doesn't when touching different parts of your genitals. This knowledge creates the foundation for more expansive and pleasurable experiences with yourself and partner(s).

More Info

  • This Genital Mapping workshop is intended for all people who want to:

    • Get to know their body better and build a comfortable, loving relationship with their genitals.

    • Better understand what they like when it comes to genital touch.

    • Enhance sexual self-awareness.

    • Deal with pain and discomfort in sex and create a more attuned experience with their genitals.

    • Get to know their genitals again after big life changes such as childbirth, injury, menopause, or other significant changes to your body.

    • Explore 'down there' properly – maybe for the first time in their life!

Workshops are offered separately for people with female genitalia and people with male genitalia.

If your anatomy is somewhere in between, or you're unsure which workshop would be the right fit, we'd love to chat — just book a free intro call and we'll figure it out together.

  • This workshop combines educational conversations with practical, self-directed exploration within a safe and private space. You'll be guided through exercises that honour your boundaries while encouraging curious discovery of your own body.

    This workshop prioritises:

    • Confidentiality: What's shared in the group stays in the group.

    • Consent: All activities are self-directed and optional.

    • Non-judgment: Creating space for all experiences and emotions.

Trauma-informed approach: Recognising that each person's relationship with their body is unique and carries difficult memories.

If you are unsure of anything or want more information on the logistics behind the practice, please reach out using the contact form.

  • Absolutely not! No one's genitals will ever appear on screen.

Participants will set up their camera so they can see the workshop material on their screen, with their own camera showing only from the head up — or not at all if they prefer. Ilil will guide everyone through the practice from the screen, and the focus is entirely on your own private, personal experience.

To ensure a safe and intentional space for everyone, all participants are required to have a short 1:1 intro call with Ilil (15 minutes) before registering. This is a chance to get to know each other, ask any questions, and make sure the workshop is the right fit for you.

  • After this workshop, you will take home:

    • Increased anatomical knowledge and body awareness.

    • Tools for continuing the mapping practice independently.

    • Enhanced ability to communicate about your body and preferences.

    • A more compassionate and curious relationship with your genitals.

  • This workshop is a safe space for us to dive into vulnerable work, so it is important that we connect.

Before confirming your booking, I will contact you for a short phone call and to give you additional information and discuss your goals.

If it's a good match for both of us, we'll send you a confirmation email with instructions to secure your spot.
